Earlier working materials treated trimmed inflation estimates as experimental. This site contains no verified numerical results or published validation of a forecasting model.

Before publishing a result

• Reconcile source files and their versions.
• Check weights, classifications and geographical coverage.
• Reconstruct the benchmark indicator and explain any discrepancy.
• Distinguish historical tests from forecasts and scenarios.
